Angie Davenport is a board member of the Cleveland Ostomy Support Group and a member of the local Youngstown Ostomy Support Group and National United Ostomy Association of America (UOAA). After graduating from Warren G Harding High School, Angie began her career working for City Hall in Auburn, Alabama, and at the American Red Cross in Atlanta, Georgia before relocating back to Warren.

For 18 years, Angie worked at Second National Bank of Warren and was promoted to Administrative Officer becoming the first African American female officer in the bank’s 100- year history. Later, Angie was promoted to Assistant Vice President in the Community Development Department where she organized and coordinated many community projects including the local Make a Difference Day. After the bank’s merger in 2004, Angie began an adminstrative career at Great Lakes Cheese in Hiram, Ohio.

Upon retiring, Angie immersed herself into advocacy for her fellow Ostomates and Inflammatory Bowel Disease patients. In 2023, Angie hosted her first Ostomy Awareness Day event, including the largest Virtual Run for Resilience Ostomy 5K Gathering, in Trumbull County for which she was recognized by the UOAA as a top fundraiser.

Angie is native Ohioian, born and raised in Warren. For nearly 40 years, Angie has been married to her husband Bruce Davenport. She has one son, James, a daughter-in-love, Kimberley and a grandson, Jaxon Davenport. She enjoys shopping and traveling.
